U.S. hourly farm workers average $10.34, up 35¢ from 2007. Field workers are at $9.66 and livestock workers are at $9.98 — neither includes benefits. Illinois, Indiana and Ohio averaged $11; Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin averaged $10.75.
