Bayer CropScience, Dow AgroSciences Sign Herbicide Co-Marketing Agreement

Bayer CropScience and Dow AgroSciences today announce a co-promotion agreement involving the companies’ corn herbicides.

As part of the agreement, the Dow AgroSciences and the Bayer CropScience sales forces will jointly promote Dow’s acetochlor brands, Keystone, Keystone LA, FulTime, TopNotch and Surpass herbicides with BalancePro herbicide to offer corn growers a pre-emerge weed control system. With this combination, corn growers can get the most consistent grass control available in corn pre-emerge plus control of key broadleaf weeds including problem weeds such as nightshade, pigweed, lambsquarters and waterhemp.

The agreement also includes co-promotion of a postemerge program. Dow AgroSciences’ Hornet WDG for postemerge broadleaf control is a perfect fit with Option postemerge grass herbicide. Whether used as a planned postemerge weed-control system or as part of a rescue program, the Option/Hornet combination offers powerful, broad-spectrum weed control with rotation flexibility and excellent crop safety.
