Biodiesel America

Ever read about biodiesel and biofuels and wonder just how they really fit into today's energy needs? Then pick up Josh Tickell's new book called “Biodiesel America.”

As Tickell puts it, the book was written “to empower Americans to support and adopt biodiesel and other renewable energy resources.” He says the book makes sense of the energy crisis of the 1970s and gives an accurate snapshot of current energy insecurity.

In addition, the book explains:

  • Why America is more dependent on oil than any other nation.

  • Why Saudi Arabia's oil empire will soon crumble, sending energy prices skyrocketing.

  • Why everyday vehicles that get 80 mpg are already sold in Europe, but not in the U.S.

  • Simple steps you can take to make money and decrease your dependence on oil.

  • How Rudolf Diesel invented an engine to run on vegetable oil more than 100 years ago.
