BIODIESEL GETS A BOOST

Biodiesel has long been known to reduce all regulated emissions — with the exception of nitrogen oxides, a contributing factor in localized formation of smog and ozone. Now, that objection has been removed. The National Biodiesel Board released research proving that B20 (20% biodiesel/80% petroleum diesel) reduces nitrogen oxides by 5%.
