VeraSun to Auction 7 Plants

According to a motion approved by a U.S. Bankruptcy court, VeraSun Energy will accept bids between March 16 and 31 for seven former U.S. BioEnergy plants that are currently in “hot idle.” The plants are located in Albert City and Dyersville, IA; Ord and Central City, NE; Woodbury, MI; Janesville, MN; and Hankinson, ND. These sales will occur as a condition set by a DIP financing agreement with AgStar Financial Service.
