A report designed to correct commonly held misconceptions about the adoption of biotech crops in the U.S. was recently released by nine major U.S. farm groups. The report, entitled “Let the Facts Speak for Themselves,” reiterates a list of myths often presented as fact, and sets out scientific and other evidence refuting them.
The report makes the case for how the vast majority of crops used worldwide are the product of genetic modification and selection that has taken place for centuries.
