Monsanto launches a new tool for checking which elevators will accept biotech corn. The two-part program is both a telephone hotline and a Web site. Growers can call 866-Sell-Corn or visit www.866sellcorn.com to find out which elevators will take corn approved for all export markets and which will accept corn that is not yet approved in the European Union.
Elevators that change their acceptance requirements are updated within 48 hours, says Monsanto.
