Combo-Mulch Finishers

Case IH introduces the 4400 and 4450 combo-mulch finishers in five sizes, three shank offerings, five harrow options and an adjustable disk gang angle.

Both the 4400 and 4450 feature Cushion Gang spring-cushioned disk blades to cut and size residue ahead of the cultivator shanks. Also, the adjustable disk gang has a 5-10 range. A 5-disk angle allows faster operating speed with less soil movement and residue cover. The 10-disk angle provides more aggressive soil movement and more residue cover.

The 4400 is equipped with a standard 20" diameter disk gang on 7.5" spacing, and the 4450 features 22" diameter disk blades on 9" spacing. The 4450 is best suited for heavier residue and high-yielding stubble field conditions.
