Corn-To-Ethanol Research Facility Breaks Ground

A national corn-to-ethanol research plant is being built at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, according to Doane's Agricultural Report.

Besides testing new technologies for producing ethanol, it will also develop value-added products. The plant is scheduled to open in January 2003.
