Corn Head

A completely rede- signed corn head from Case IH provides increased capacity and more row-spacing options.

The 220 Series corn head is available in 6-, 8- and 12-row configurations, ranging from 20" to 38" row spacings.

The modular stalk roll design improves durability; parts can be replaced individually and the unit's large diameter requires fewer rotations per minute than other models. A self-sharpening, four-blade intermeshing knife shears cornstalks into small pieces for less trash interference and good stalk decomposition. Contoured stripper plates allow for cleaner picking, while a large 16" auger with increased flight pitch helps reduce kernel damage and fill the grain tank faster.
