Don’t Till Beans Following Corn

Save time and expense by eliminating tillage for soybeans after corn, according to Iowa State University research. It finds an insignificant soybean yield response from tillage. The cost is $18-25/acre for conventional tillage compared to no-till, and six years of research shows only 1 bu./acre additional yield.
