Hail damage

Hail had its way with this cornfield in Nicollet County on June 18. It hailed for about 30 minutes and wind played a factor, too.

The 2012 corn and soybean crops were in earlier than normal, and are off to a good start. While some areas are thirsting for rain, others are getting more than they can handle.
