China Sees Record Corn Drop

According to the Brock Report, China raised its corn production by 2% to a record 166.5 mmt due to larger plantings. Chinese farmers are said to have increased corn plantings by 1.5% this year, while decreasing soybean acreage by 3.7%.

Despite large reserves, China's government is expected to continue to stockpile corn. And, Beijing remains unwilling to subsidize corn exports as in the past.
