New Flail Shredder

Sep 1, 2007 1:56 PM

The new Hiniker AR-2000 high-speed flail shredder is designed for high residue levels and tougher stalks.

The rotor speed is increased to 2,000 rpm., resulting in faster knife tip speeds and increased capacity. Power is transmitted through a constant-velocity pto shaft and a 235-hp rated gearbox. Four-groove banded belts drive each of the rotors from the outer end, while an overrunning clutch protects the driveline.
