Ethanol Is Among America's Best

LIFE magazine rated "air-friendly ethanol" among the top "100 Best Things About America Now," in a recent issue.

The magazine pointed out that ethanol-blended gasolines represent more than 12% of fuel sales in the nation today.

"I commend LIFE for valuing ethanol and it's beneficial impact on our environment," says Eric Vaughn, president of the Renewable Fuels Assn.
