Without fail, Mother Nature will have her way each year. Some years she wreaks havoc on crops, other times it's your buildings. Here's a look at storm damage from 2012. Thanks to the Sicheneder farm, rural New Germany, MN, for sharing the disaster that hit the night of Father's Day, June 17. We're glad to hear neighbors and friends came together to help the clean up go so smooth.

May 30, 1998, @ 3:05 am, we went thru a storm like yours. We lost a dairy and steer operation. Your photos brought back memories, but my comments are for encouragement. Complete clean-up and rebuild took me many years, but I still remember the kindness of neighbors and help of people I didn't even know. Keep cheerful, for the next 15 yrs when you walk thru certain areas of the farm you well be looking at the ground for nails and debris and hopeful to find that 1/2" wrench.
