ASA Offers New Online Political Advocacy Training

If you want or need to get more involved in the political process and how it affects your operation, the America Soybean Association has a new online training program at its Advocacy Training Center. The program teaches basic skills and protocols for advocating farmer-friendly policy to elected officials.

The training is divided into four modules: Effective Advocacy, Ethics and Fundraising, Communicating with Congress and Meeting with Elected Officials. Each module takes about 10-15 minutes to complete, and each features an interactive self-test at the end so you can see what you've learned.

To start the training, log on to: www.SoyGrowers.com/programs/advocacy.
