Farmer's view of Climate|Pro

John Jackle, who farms 1,800 corn and soybean acres near Jasper, Ind., talks about Climate|Pro from The Climate Corporation. He uses it to gauge weather, and also takes advantage of the advisors available, including the harvest advisor.

"Weather is the biggest make-or-break in our profession," says Jackle. "I think the Climate website would be very beneficial for other farmers, especially those who are geographically spread out. I like the way you can pull up a field and see the forecast and make decisions on that."

Jackle also appreciates the data that Climate|Pro offers.

"I've found the data to be very accurate. You can see what the estimated production of a hybrid would be. It takes the guesswork out; it saves time," he says. "I never thought I'd see a day when you could click a couple buttons on the mouse and see this much data on a field."
