Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack spoke at the annual Commodity Classic on March 2. He voiced his concerns on lack of funding for public research, as well as infrastructure. He wants to see the U.S. remain competitive, therefore supports more funds for research and a strong infrastructure to get commodities from point A to point B.
