Agriculture biotechnology, which is achieved in a manner that is efficient and safe to humans and animals, offers tremendous hope and opportunities for future efficiencies in agriculture production, enhancements to the environment, development of alternative fuels and human health advancements.

SROC Open House

The University of Minnesota Southern Research and Outreach Center (SROC) will have their annual open house on Thursday, Sept. 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the SROC Experiment Station located on the west edge of Waseca, MN, just south of Highway 14. They have events and activities planned for the whole family, including an evening meal. For more information on the U of M SROC open house, please call 507-835-3620.
