LAND VALUES STAY STRONG

Farm and ranch real estate values remain strong in 2005, according to a recent survey at Farmers National Company (FNC).

Results from more than 300 private treaty sales and auctions at FNC have been at or above the record sales prices recorded in 2004.

Sale prices of $3,500-5,000/acre are common in the central and eastern Corn Belt, with prices of $2,500-3,500/acre in the western Corn Belt.
