Sales of large row-crop tractors with more than 100 hp rose 27.5% in the U.S. to 2,740 units — the fifth consecutive month of double-digit gains, according to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers. U.S. combine sales more than doubled to 1,097 units, compared with 541 in October 2003.
