Chisel Plow Combines Features

Oct 1, 2000 12:00 PM

John Deere's new 2400 Chisel Plow features the company's AccuDepth and floating hitch technologies.

AccuDepth controls depth and side-to-side leveling from the operator's seat. Sections can be individually adjusted to accommodate changes on the go from the cab.

The floating hitch is designed for consistent, accurate depth control. It's supported by front castering wheels and rear-wheel packages for both depth and transport positions. The tongue is connected to the frame at two points, allowing the plow to follow the terrain unfettered by the tongue or tractor drawbar.

The 2400 is available in 10-64' widths.
