PROTECT AGAINST WESTERN BEAN CUTWORM

Oct 1, 2003 12:00 PM, Compiled By Greg Lamp

In a recent EPA registration amendment, Herculex 1 now has approval for western bean cutworm. Herculex 1, in its first season of commercial availability, also provides full-season protection against first- and second-generation European corn borer, southwestern corn borer, black cutworm and fall armyworm, plus intermediate suppression of corn earworm.

Herculex 1, an in-plant insect-protection trait, is available in hybrids from Mycogen, Pioneer and in Triton Genetics brand hybrids from CHS Marketing.
