Tyler takes us to a soybean field sitting at R5 stage and shows the impressive amount of pods being set/filled. He’s very pleased with the way the plants are looking and says they’ll get the numbers in about 30 days or so when it’s time to harvest.

Tyler’s neighbors are combining shorter-season beans in Bahia, Brazil. This field is averaging 55 bu./acre at 14½%.

The cotton fields are progressing well with plants showing 10 bolls already. Tyler is expecting plants to have about 17 total when it comes time to harvest, which could bring them to exceed their economic expectations for cotton.
