According to USDA, 40% of this year's corn crop is planted to biotech hybrids, up from 34% last year. Roundup Ready soybean varieties account for 81% of the U.S. crop, up from 75% in 2002. And biotech cotton varieties are estimated to account for 73% of the crop, up from 71% in 2002.
