Most CRP Acres Re-Enroll

Roughly 83% of the 27.8 million expiring CRP acres are likely to re-enroll, USDA announces. Corn prices have not lured as many acres out of CRP as had been expected.

Of the 4.6 million acres estimated to exit the program, about 1.4 million acres are in major corn-producing states. Details are available at www.fsa.usda.gov.
