John Deere's 2700 Mulch Ripper mulches with a disk, shatters with a ripper and levels soils with a conditioner - all in one pass.
With disk gangs in front, the mulcher can adjust to a 4" depth or completely out of the ground. Just behind the disk gangs is the ripper, which comes in 24" and 30" spacings. A hydraulic down-pressure system allows the ripper to stay level while protecting the gang against obstructions. The 2700 comes in 12 11/42', 14', 17 11/42' and 18' widths.
