New Soybean Technology Center

USDA's Ag Marketing Service (AMS) has approved establishing a soybean checkoff-funded Technology Utilization Center (TUC). The center is being established by the United Soybean Board (USB) and the soybean checkoff. Its purpose: To bring the soybean industry together to identify and improve the composition of U.S. soybeans.

“TUC will serve as a facilitator between the private sector, government and industry to create the pull-through needed to commercialize new soybean varieties with improved traits,” says Richard Borgsmiller, USB chairman and farmer from Murphysboro, IL.
