New Tractors

McCormick International USA has expanded its XTX series tractors with the new XTX 145 (142 hp/139 pto hp) and XTX 165 (165 hp/155 pto hp). Both models are powered by the 6.7-liter BetaPower engine that offers electronic power boost. “The power boost maintains output when working in tough and variable soil conditions or over undulating ground,” says John Sargeant, vice president of marketing.

An XtraSpeed transmission provides 32 progressive speeds in four ranges. Also available are three levels of electronic control for the transmission and external service hydraulics.

The models offer a maximum lift of 17,640 lbs. and 29.1 gpm of hydraulic flow. A redesigned hood provides easy engine access and a new lighting package enhances nighttime work. Both models feature a new decal scheme and redesigned fenders.

McCormick also introduces a new family of utility tractors in its CL series with three models ranging from 57 to 74 hp. Powered by a 3.3-liter Perkins 3-cylinder engine, each features a mechanical shuttle transmission and independent pto, plus folding ROPS and choice of either 2WD or 4WD.

McCormick enters the compact tractor market with its CT series. Four new tractor models range from 28 to 47 hp (23 to 41 pto hp). They're powered by a 4-cylinder Mitsubishi diesel engine and come with a variety of attachments designed for the rural lifestyle market.
