Counter-Cyclical Payments

USDA announced the availability of first partial 2004 crop year counter-cyclical program payments. The payments are: wheat – $0.035/bu.; corn – $0.14/bu.; sorghum – $0.0945/bu.; barley – $0.0525/bu.; oats – $ 0.0056/bu.; soybeans – $0.091/bu.: upland cotton – $0.0481/lb.; rice – $0.3150/cwt.; and peanuts – $25.55/short ton.
