Stalwart is not just for corn anymore

Apr 13, 2004 10:11 AM, Sipcam Agro USA, Inc.

Sipcam Agro USA, Inc. has expanded its metolachlor product line with the addition of Stalwart Herbicide. This new formulation is labeled for preemergence control of most annual grasses and small-seeded broadleaf weeds in a variety of crops including cotton, peanuts, pod crops, potatoes, safflowers and soybeans.

Sipcam Agro began marketing the Stalwart brand of metolachlor herbicides in 2003 with the introduction of Stalwart C, a safened emulsifiable concentrate for use in field corn, and Stalwart Xtra, a pre-mix field corn herbicide containing metolachlor and atrazine.

“This newest metolachlor product is registered for use on a wide variety of crops, which means our distributors can now offer the value and effectiveness of the Stalwart brand to a more diverse group of growers,” Sipcam Agro Herbicide Business Manager Mark Shepherd says.

Stalwart Herbicide is an 8-lb. per gallon emulsifiable concentrate formulation. It is ideal for tank mixing with other herbicides as well as fluid fertilizers. The complete line of Stalwart Herbicides is available in 2 x 2-gallon cases, 260-gallon mini bulk containers and bulk. Complete product labels can be accessed at www.sipcamagrousa.com.
