New High Quality Soybean Oil Available In Mexico

Compañia Mantequera Monterrey (CMM), whose major products have been shortenings and liquid shortenings for frying, is moving into production of high-quality soybean oils. CMM has introduced a 100% soybean oil called, "Oro." The company is selling 12,000 boxes per month or 144,000 liters of bottled oil for the home segment. IM/Latin America & Caribbean American Soybean Association Regional Director Mark Andersen reports that CMM is planning to introduce two more brands of 100% soybean oil in the future.
