Benchmark data from 1.78 million acres of Minnesota cropland is now available online through the University of Minnesota. Finbin compiles anonymous producer data from Finpack (the U of M's farm financial planning and analysis software).
Finbin, found online at www.cffm.umn.edu, replies to queries that can include very specific search criteria. Several other states are also preparing to submit data.
