BASF surveyed a diverse group of growers and consumers to provide an opinion of farmland stewardship topics. The goal was to identify gaps in perceptions among consumers, growers and pesticide manufacturers. Participants were asked to measure the level of importance placed on certain characteristics and agriculture industry priorities when making decisions about crop inputs.
Key findings include:
Approximately 400 consumers and growers of diverse age, gender, education level and geography across the U.S. were surveyed.
The survey had a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points.
