WORK UTILITY MACHINE

Bobcat has come out with the new D-Series Toolcat 5600 utility work machine. The compact loader comes with new enhancements, including four-wheel independent suspension, a spine-frame design and revamped powertrain. The new model has a 2,000-lb. payload and a 1,500-lb. rated operating capacity.

Attachments for the new D-Series 5600 include mowers, snow blades and blowers, augers, angle brooms, buckets, tillers and pallet forks; 38 available attachments. The standard Bob-Tach mounting system enables operators to switch attachments in less than a minute without additional assistance or tools.

Full-time four-wheel drive is featured, as well as exclusive limited slip differentials that deliver torque to all four wheels while managing power distribution to the ground conditions. The drive system also features work mode, shift-on-the-fly two speed, cruise control and hydrostatic braking.

TWO-TANK AIR CARTS

New Holland's P Series two-tank air carts feature polyethylene tanks and improved electronics. The P1030 has a 280-bu. tank capacity, and the P1040 boasts 330-bu. capacity.

Both carts come with a choice of in-cab monitoring systems: IntelliView II with a 7-in. monitor with buttons or IntelliView Plus II with a 10-in. monitor and touch screen. A fully integrated precision land management system for field mapping is optional.

Downdraft metering allows air and product to blend smoothly for precise metering, and air valve control at each meter lets the operator set airflow for accurate delivery. Operators can choose between mechanical or variable-rate drive.

Both P Series carts have 60-40 split tanks allowing two separate products for single- or double-shoot applications, and both models have a high-capacity 10-in. auger with controls at the top and bottom for one-person operation.
