AGCO Gleaner announces the new A85 Class VIII with a 425-hp. engine and the largest rotor in the industry. It leads the A5 Series line of Gleaner combines, featuring helical vane front feeders to provide controlled inlet feeding of crop material throughout every 360° revolution. The 61.1-cu. ft. hydrostatic rotor speed remains constant despite rpm engine dips.
Its 4.5-bu./sec., 15-in. direct flow unloading system unloads the 350-bu. grain bin in 88 sec.
In the cab, the GTA Console II adjusts vital harvest components on the go, including rotor speed, sieves, concaves and fan speed. Data collection is geo-referenced on secure digital cards for later PC downloading.
Fast Distributing introduces its Fast Model 94FM (front mount) sprayer. Mounting the boom in front allows the operator to monitor the boom without turning around, reducing operator stress and fatigue and maintaining more focus on steering. Fast offers mounting brackets for almost all tractors.
The new sprayer is available in 80, 88, 90 and 100-ft. boom lengths, which can also be folded and used in the 60-ft position. A quick-mount design allows easy removal from the tractor frame with parking stands and road lights standard.
The 1,000-gal. poly solution tank is mounted in a heavy-duty saddle and frame that quickly attaches to the tractor's three-point hitch. A field ready 94FM sprayer with 1,000 gallon tank, Raven 450 and a 90-ft. boom retails for about $34,000.
