Here is the modular maker in action. The ram moves up and down and traverses the whole length of the machine which will even out the bolls and make a uniform bale weighing in at approximately 26,000 lbs. Several loads of cotton picked from the field comprise one bale. Once the bale is complete, the modular maker's door opens up and then the modular maker is pulled forward and reset so another bale can be made. The bales are then picked up by a walking floor trailer and transported to the cotton gin.
