SELF-PROPELLED SPRAYER

Case IH introduces the new SPX3310 Patriot sprayer. With the engine shifted to the rear and the 1,000-gal. tank in the middle, the company says the sprayer provides superior weight distribution, as well as advantages in operator comfort and available power.

When the tank is full and booms are fully extended, the unit's weight is evenly distributed between the front and rear axles.

A new 120-gal. fuel tank allows the operator to stay in the field longer. Adjustable 60/80 ft. or 60/90 ft. booms are available in five- or six-section configurations. Standard, low-rate and high-rate plumbing options are available. Any of these configurations can be equipped with the optional AIM Command spray system.

The new Case IH SCS 4600 controller allows the operator to monitor information on its larger, monochrome screen. It works in concert with the boom section controls, allowing the operator to have a visual confirmation of up to 10 active sections. The boom and pressure gauges have also been integrated into the monitor. Available as an upgrade to the SCS 4600, the Case IH Viper combines the functionality of a rate controller with the added features of a task computer.

LANDSCAPING SCRAPER

The Westendorf Landscraper is available in 8-, 10- or 12-ft. models and has a 6-in. high-carbon steel cutting edge with hubs and bearings that are interchangeable with the WW-1610 wagon. Grease zerks are located at all pivot points and a gauge rod to show cutting depth is included.

The Landscraper has a 3-in. lift cylinder, 15-in. standard rims and an extra strong tongue constructed of square tubular steel. The large weight box provides additional cutting pressure for more challenging tasks. The new system allows each wheel to be adjusted independently to provide 0-12 in. cutting bar tilt by using a manual rank or the optional hydraulic cylinder.

LIGHTBAR GUIDANCE

Trimble announces its AgGPS EZ-Guide Plus system is now available with the new AGGPS 252 multi-function global positioning system (GPS) receiver. The new system can now be used as an alternative to row markers for lightbar guidance in row-crop planting, as well as other field operations.

The AgGPS 252 receiver is a rugged, all-in-one, antenna design. The system provides sub-foot pass-to-pass accuracy using free WAAS or EGNOS corrections or better than 2-in. pass-to-pass accuracy using OmniSTAR High Performance (HP) satellite services for row crop applications. The unit is equipped with an OmniSTAR Virtual Base Station.

The system can be installed on any field equipment, including trucks, tractors, spray rigs or combines. Components include a lightbar with LEDs for offline indication and integrated graphic LCD display for intuitive turn and curve guidance, and a survey-grade high performance antenna.

TRACTOR SERIES

Four new 8400 Series tractors (180-240 PTO hp) are now available from Massey Ferguson and feature more power plus the Dyna-Step transmission.

With Dyna-Step, operators can move to any of 21 forward and 15 reverse speeds in the transport range or 21 forward and 18 reverse speeds in the work range. Other features include the park lock and shuttle speed settings.

A 7.4 liter ETA SisuDiesel engine powers the MF 8450 (180 PTO hp) and MF 8460 (195 PTO hp). The MF 8470 (220 PTO hp) and MF 8480 (240 PTO hp) are powered by the 8.4-liter ETA SisuDiesel.
