Slim-Fast Foods Company, West Palm Beach, FL, has added a soy protein shake to its lineup of Ultra Slim-Fast shakes. Chocolate Delite, the only flavor currently offered, contains 15 grams of soy protein and carries FDA's heart-healthy claim.
The shake can be made with either water or milk and can be served hot or cold. An 8-oz serving contains 170 calories and 15 grams of protein when mixed with water or 260 calories and 23 grams of protein when mixed with fat-free milk.
