SOYBEAN CHECKOFF AIDS HURRICANE FARMERS

The United Soybean Board and the soybean checkoff have donated $75,000 to farmers devastated by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Of that, $25,000 has been delivered to the Louisiana Cattlemen's Association to purchase soybean meal feed for cattlemen in need. Another $50,000 will be used to distribute heavily discounted soy biodiesel to farmers in Alabama and Mississippi.
