USDA Forecasts AG Exports

The value of U.S. farm exports during fiscal year 2008 is now forecast to hit a record $91 billion, up $7.5 billion from a previous estimate issued last August.

USDA has raised its corn export forecast for 2007-2008 by 100 million bushels, to a projected 2.45 billion bushels, surpassing the previous record for corn exports of 2.4 billionin 1979-1980.
