STUDY UP ON GRAIN STORAGE

This year, with plenty of grain in storage around the country, be sure you know how to maintain what you have in the bin.

To help do that, two practical books about storing grain are available from MWPS:

  • Managing Dry Grain in Storage, second edition (AED-20), explains what causes grain to go out of condition and tells how to manage grain to prevent storage problems.

  • Dry Grain Aeration Systems Design Handbook, revised edition (MWPS-29), provides guidelines for selecting, sizing, locating and evaluating grain aeration systems.

Cost for each book is $25 plus shipping and handling. To order, e-mail mwps@iastate.edu or call 800-562-3618 or 515-294-4337. You can also download the editions from the Web at www.mwpshq.org.
