USDA has announced the 2005-crop national and country loan rates for corn, grain sorghum and soybeans. The 2005 national loan rate for both corn and grain sorghum will be set at $1.95/bu., while the national rate for soybeans will be $5/bu., as required by the 2002 Farm Bill.
The 2005-crop county loan rates are available on the Farm Service Agency Web site at: www.fsa.usda.gov/dafp/psd/loanrate.htm.
