Americans Support Biodiesel Incentives

By a two-to-one margin, surveyed Americans say they're willing to support financial and tax incentives to increase the use of renewable fuels like biodiesel.

According to a national public opinion study funded by the United Soybean Board, 60% believe it's necessary to provide measures and tax incentives to increase renewable fuel use. At least 38% of the 1,000 people surveyed believe improving human health is the top consideration for renewable fuels; 28% think protecting the environment is most important.
