Let's Get Digital

Which apps do you use for farming?

Over the past several months, I've blogged about a lot of apps available for farmers to use while working on the farm. From farm management apps to different calculators, I've covered some great tools. And don't forget the long list of many different app options I posted this past spring. I'm even going to be speaking about apps that are available to help you on the farm in December at a conference. Wow! I'm really nervous, but super excited.

And while I keep bringing new and useful apps to you through this blog, what I'd really like is to hear from you. So, tell me, what apps do you use on your phone while you're in the field, in the barn, at your desk? There have got to be more out there I haven't covered.

Leave comments below with the app name and tell me how it makes your job easier in some way. Or send me an email and let me know. I'd love to be able to know from you guys how you're letting your smart phone work for you. If you comment, maybe I'll send out some hats or some way of thanks for giving your input, because I sure appreciate it! That's good incentive, right?

So thanks in advance for your input, suggestions, thoughts.

On my android phone I use agweb, soilweb, growing degree days by farm progress, FS adjuvants and weatherbug.

On my ipad I use notability, quick office, ag PhD fert removal, Purdue university field guide, and N price.

I've got a windows phone so the apps are a little different. Agprice is really good. Also Yield Estimator, Flashlight, and MyRadar Weather.
