Buy Used Equipment Via The Internet

Buying used equipment just got easier, thanks to the Internet and John Deere.

A new no-cost, Internet-based service will help farmers search, find and negotiate for used equipment online. You can access the new service, called machineFinder, on the Internet (www.ma chinefinder.com).

Once online, you can search through 1,600 John Deere dealerships in the U.S. and Canada that provide thousands of used equipment listings.

You can search listings by category, manufacturer, year and other criteria. Each listing has a detailed description of the equipment along with photos.

And if you're unable to find what you're looking for, the system will keep searching and alert you via e-mail, phone or fax when a machine you're looking for is added.

Once you find equipment you want to buy, you can either negotiate online with a seller or make arrangements through your local John Deere dealer. If you don't have Internet access, John Deere says the service is available at its dealerships.
