Consumer confidence in beef is just fine, according to the latest polls sponsored by the National Cattlemen's Beef Association. Even though polls show 97% of Americans are aware of the BSE case, the confidence in the safety of U.S. beef registered 89%, a point above the 88% registered in the previous poll taken in September.
