High-Horsepower Tractors

The new Challenger MT500D series tractors range from 170 to 225 hp and are powered by Tier 4-interim diesel engines. The new series can be outfitted with System 150 auto-steering technology and the AGCOMMAND telemetry system providing real-time tractor performance information. The TechStar continuously variable transmission delivers clutchless, stepless shifting. The Power Management continuously monitors engine load, adjusting the engine and transmission to deliver optimum power and improved fuel efficiency. An AutoPower VI (partial powershift) transmission is also available.

A new feature is the OptiRide Plus hydraulic cab suspension system. Inside the cab the Datatronic tractor-management center offers greater performance and functionality and increased legibility to accurately monitor and adjust tractor and implement settings. Massey Ferguson introduces the new 7600 series tractors. The new mid-frame row-crop tractors range from 170 to 225 engine hp and are powered by Tier 4 interim-compliant diesel engines. Available with a Dyna-6 (24-speed, partial powershift) or Dyna-VT (CVT) transmissions, the 7600 series also uses Dynamic Tractor Management for greater communication between the engine and gearbox, automatically adjusting load for consistent power and improved fuel efficiency.

The OptiRide Plus cab suspension system is new. A right-hand control armrest, new multipad control and new multi-function joystick provide easy-to-reach fingertip control.
