We strive to keep our magazine fresh with relevant content and appealing, useful graphics. What you might not know, however, is that we also take that approach when it comes to our website, http://www.cornandsoybeandigest.com.
In the next few weeks when you visit our site you’ll see a completely new look that’s better organized and hopefully more intuitive for our visitors. And if you want to use our site on your cell phone, it’s designed to be more mobile friendly.
Our editors have been working behind the scenes to prep the site with information that’s easier and, more importantly, quicker to navigate.
For example, if you’re searching for information on Asian soybean rust it now will appear with all the media streams integrated – articles, videos, commenting and hot topics for more details.
The most pertinent breaking news, production and marketing content will be easier for you to find, too. And you’ll continue to get weekly market outlooks from Richard Brock, policy news from Kent Thiesse and ag trends from David Kohl.
Most readers come to the site through Google, and the newly redesigned site will offer a more robust search function. It’s like a tractor where you’ve just added auto-steer. You could drive the tractor without it, but it’s certainly easier and usually more efficient to turn on the auto-steer function. Now you wouldn’t want to be without it, right?
We add new content, including videos, to our site every day and that will only grow in the months ahead. Adding new media to our jobs – like your experiences with technology – can be challenging, but it’s been rewarding.
We’re curious about how you access and use information on the Web. We invite you to visit our site at www.cornandsoybeandigest.com and take our poll about your reading habits: print, online or both. We sure welcome any feedback you have on our new site…or anything else for that matter.
Thanks and drop me an e-mail to let me know what you think. I’d appreciate it. My address is: firstname.lastname@example.org.
